57. HOW TO EXPERIENCE WHO WE TRULY ARE –INSTANTLY!

Every day we must take aware action to silence the mind and experience moments of stillness, the original state of isness, which is the source of our abundance, happiness and meaning. The state of stillness is our primary experience.

This so-called stillness permeates around and through everything we truly are and everything there is. Most of the time we don’t notice it, because we are too busy doing stuff i.e. sensing, thinking, speaking, acting. But the stillness is there, in the background, it is the way it is: absolute Truth.

And so it’s up to us to go within and get in touch with the truth of the self, the silent presence, the stillness. When we do this in alert awareness – we make the stillness conscious. Suddenly everything within and around us makes complete and total sense. There is nothing to judge, nowhere to rush to, and nothing needs amending. Everything is just the way it’s meant to be: orderly, fulfilling, beautiful, and we experience moments of completeness.

To simply “be” is our original and most profound experience. After all – we are human beings, not human doings. When we awaken to this truth, everything that we think we need or want – simply falls into place – and we experience who we truly are.
