(Blog on…36) THE MEANING OF LIFE

We inherently know where to look for the meaning of life. This “knowingness” is not knowledge, but an inborn sense or a familiarity; the feeling of belonging; being part of oneness. As we expand in awareness of who we are, our feeling of oneness matures. The mind grows increasingly silent, while our sensitivity of the world and our purpose within it flourishes.

Through advance in awareness we expand in moral responsibility. Every righteous endeavor takes us a step closer to who we truly are, while every corrupt action takes us in the opposite direction. There are no shortcuts, for we cannot cheat the self. There are no goals, for our destination is the path. True happiness and the meaning of life can only be found in beingness; being the path.  To be happy we must become happiness. To find the meaning of life we must be who we truly are.
