To grow in any aspect of Who We Are, we require a 2-STEP process.

In the Unfinished Book, I have named this process RESPONSIBLE CO-CREATION: How to”Responsibly” and “Efficiently” co-create “Meaningful” outcomes. 

The 2 STEP process consists of: (simplified explanation):
1. Genuine UNDERSTANDING of the world and Who We Are
2. RESPONSIBLE APPLICATION of our understandings.

Today I’d like to address GROWTH in Emotional Intelligence because I believe the lack of EQ (Emotional Quotient) is our greatest weakness. 
Here’s what you can do:

FIRST, continuously seek genuine, unbiased understanding about the world and Who You Truly are: the way it is. The Internet is full of knowledge, so dedicate some time every day to self-education. Keep in mind this is an on-going process, not a final destination.

SECOND, knowledge is useless unless responsibly applied. HOW to apply knowledge for “RIGHT RESULTS” is the central focus of the Unfinished Book.

PRACTICAL EXERCISE EVERYONE CAN DO:

Make an agreement with your partner, child or best friend, that you will start voicing HOW YOU FEEL. For example, your partner gives you some advice and suddenly you FEEL she or he is being overly patronizing and this disturbs you.

TIME TO SPEAK UP! Say something like…

“you know what you just said, I truly appreciate your care and support, but I can’t help but feel that you are patronizing me and this disturbs my peace. I’m aware that this could be just my interpretation and perhaps I should be looking for solutions within..

…but I just wanted to LET YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL…” 

So, an understanding partner will say something like… “Huh, interesting that you feel that way… No, it was not my intention to patronize you… must think about this… How do you think I could say what I just said in a way that would motivate you, rather than disturb you?”

IN SUMMARY:

Get involved, RESPOND pro-actively (NOT with anger), be responsible and seek meaningful outcomes. The central thread of the Unfinished Book is Responsible Co-Creation. I have spent 37 years investigating the world and Who We Are, all with the purpose to GROW in my Responsible co-creation of my reality.

What is my goal?

Simple. To become a better person. Better “me” will deliver better results and this will lead to a more meaningful life. Now I hope to share and discuss my findings with YOU
