76. THE CURIOUS CASE OF THE CRAZY MECHANIC
Imagine this:
A villain kicks in the front of your vehicle, causing you several hundred dollars of damage. You pay the villain for damaging your car, then drive the car to your mechanic for repair.
The mechanic examines YOU (not the car) and hands you a prescription for tablets which will calm your nerves. Basically, when the noise from scratching metal gets too much to bear, you simply take 2 tablets and you feel better. Problem solved!
Who’s crazy here? Well, you are. Simply think of the villain as your food supply system, the car as your body, and the mechanic as your doctor. Here’s how it works:
The food supply system (the villain) feeds you processed, low-quality foods, which kick in your health. When you get ill the doctor (the mechanic) gives you medicine, which temporarily makes you feel better, so you don’t feel the scratching body.
In short, the food industry is continually kicking in your vehicle; the body. When your body feels the damage the pharmaceutical industry feeds you tablets, which soften the noise and you don’t notice the scratching. First, they make a profit on feeding you poison, then they make a profit on selling you the medicine, which keeps you alive so you can consume more poison.
TO SUMMARIZE:
It’s time we fix the broken system. Start paying attention to what you put into your body. Before processed food there was NO cancer or similar diseases. Start buying from local farmers, who produce healthy, organic foods, and which supports and bring out the best in who you truly are.
