133. DIFFERENCE & SIMILARITY BETWEEN RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY
Many often compare religion to spirituality, treating these two as similar or even equal.
But there is one major difference between religion and spirituality. Namely:
![]()
RELIGION seeks salvation in the OUTER WORLD, in some all-powerful deity or place, such as God, heaven or divine power, while SPIRITUALITY seeks salvation within, in the INNER WORLD, by re-discovering the truth of the Self and being Who We Truly Are.

This is not just a huge difference, it’s in fact, the OPPOSITE.

However, religion and spirituality could very easily and steadily be reconciled with a bit of common sense. Namely:
![]()
1. If God represents EVERYTHING, then this would mean that it/she/he did NOT CREATE the world from nothing, but simply transformed a part of everything (it Self) into the world.
This would mean that every being is, in fact, a particle of God and therefore seeking salvation WITHIN would make all the sense in the world.
![]()
2. If God is truly the ultimate being and totally SEPARATE from the world, this still suggests that it/she/he would create the world based on its OWN idea, ingredients or imagery, which again would mean that turning WITHIN would mean turning to God.

Most of all we must always keep in our awareness that we DON’T KNOW God; we BELIEVE in God.
Anybody claiming knowledge of God is an insult to the all-mighty, because something as limited, as a human being, can NEVER TRULY KNOW the unlimited, such as God. Please think about this, reach WITHIN, and know that YOU ARE.

PS: Have a great Sunday all Religious and Spiritual people, and UNDERSTAND that YOU ARE ONE ![]()
