It’s only fair and correct that people get paid for their work. Some people have better ideas or offer better services or goods, so it’s only fair that they get paid more. Some people offer crucial services, which are not glamorous, or services which are appreciated only by those who need them, such as nursing, teaching, administration, help for the needy, manufacturing and so forth, and it’s only correct that we all contribute toward their remuneration. Some people only offer services and goods because they want or need money and that too is ok and deserves a fair payment.

But then there are people who just want to sell you something AT ANY COST! They will cheat, steal, cause damage or use any means to get money from you. And it’s usually a lot of money or everything you have. Those people are just blinded by their GREED FOR MONEY. Technically, they are ill and should be treated, but more about that in some other post.

So, what should be the CORRECT measure for the WORK that anyone provides? What is the RIGHT measure of money that we deserve in exchange for our services, goods, and ideas?

The RIGHT measure is always the amount of VALUE WE ADD to the world. On the opposite side to adding value is the amount of DAMAGE we cause and that too should be punished accordingly. Here’s the simple truth I learned many years ago:

 We are all in the business of selling something. However, business is NOT about selling something in exchange for money. BUSINESS IS ABOUT ADDING VALUE IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY. Added value is the measurement and money is simply the tool of exchange.

But here’s the catch: Some services, products or ideas are simply overpriced. I feel very fortunate that I can afford many things. But I REFUSE to pay stupid prices to greedy people and do my best to give an extra reward to those who offer valuable services and goods.

One thing I learned is that GREEDY PEOPLE only care about you and the world BECAUSE they want to sell you something. On the other hand, HONEST PEOPLE want to sell you something BECAUSE they care about you and the world.

We need a credible economic system based on business exchange. Let’s do our best to support ADDED VALUE and STOP GREED. Enjoy the day <3
