There seems to be much rumor circulating the internet about the rise of Islam and how this will affect the West. Here are some thoughts:

1. HUMAN BEINGS: Before being a Muslim or a Christian or a Hindu or an atheist and so on – we are HUMAN BEINGS.
2. NO SUCH THING AS A MUSLIM. A Muslim from Pakistan is different from a Muslim in the Middle East and very different from a Muslim in Africa and yet different from a Muslim who lives in the West and so on. We cannot throw these people into one basket.
3. THE WORLD IS CHANGING, people are changing, priorities are changing. The new generation of Muslims, like the new generation of Christians – have different priorities than their previous generations. And guess what? Their priorities are not much different from yours and mine.
4. KEEPING PEOPLE suppressed and in poverty creates conflict. Providing people with education and jobs creates prosperity.
5. WHEN WE PUSH PEOPLE AWAY we make potential enemies. When we mix, share and collaborate we grow toward Oneness.
6. THE PROBLEMS we face have not much to do with Muslims or Christians or some groups. The problems we face have to do with Me and You, allowing to be manipulated against each other.
7. THE WEAPON & THE CURE: There is only one weapon: FEAR. There is only one cure: LOVE.
8. MUSLIM POPULATION DOES NOT SUPPORT EXTREMIST GROUPS. These are supported by powerful institutions in order to keep humanity divided, misinformed and in conflict.
9. THE REAL FIGHT is about the command of earth’s resources. War is BIG business, because it allows FREE taking (Stealing), but requires mass manipulation and conflict. SAY NO TO WAR!
10. GLOBALIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY are driving world cultures and communities ever more interrelated and interdependent. This is bad news for conflict!
11. WE MUST STOP DIVIDING PEOPLE by their religion, nationality, race, gender and class, and begin to treat each other as One humanity. Responsible co-creation is the future.
12. NEWS from mainstream media is not news: it’s the voice of powerful institutions. We must seek alternative news and employ open and sincere examination of truth.
13. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE: Demand changes to the way we are governed, the way we do business and the way we communicate trust.

We don’t need a revolution. We need RESPONSIBLE EVOLUTION.
